The distinction between off-premise and on-premise refers to the location and responsibility for server hosting. With off-premise solutions, we host the Collabora Online server on our own infrastructure and take care of updates and maintenance of the service. With on-premise solutions, Collabora Online is installed on your existing server infrastructure. You are then responsible for updates and maintenance.
To activate your personal Collabora Online access, we need the URL or domain of the cloud into which the Collabora Online service is to be integrated. You can find all compatible cloud solutions in the Collabora-Documentation (e.g. Nextcloud, Owncloud, Moodle, Mattermost).
By account, we mean any person or account in your cloud solution that has primary access to the Collabora service you have booked, i.e. anyone who can create new documents and edit them accordingly. We do NOT count external guests as accounts, i.e. you can share and collaborate on your documents with any third party without paying extra.
